Office Policies

Appointments

We respect your time and understand the demands of a busy schedule. Therefore, when an appointment is made, it is understood and mutually agreed upon by you and our office as time reserved exclusively for you. We make every effort to maintain our schedule and yours. So, a 24 hour advanced notice is required if you need to cancel your appointment. Otherwise, you may be subject to additional fees. Missing or breaking multiple appointments may also incur additional fees.

Your First Visit

Your initial visit will consist of a thorough examination, X-rays as needed and a cleaning, if applicable. Any necessary treatment will be discussed during your visit and an appointment will be scheduled for your treatment to begin at your following visit. To ensure expediency of your visit, please provide the following information at the time of your appointment:
-A list of your current medications
-Any x-rays taken by a previous dentist, if possible
-If you have dental coverage, please bring your insurance card and a completed insurance claim form.

Please advise the office if you have any medical conditions that we should be aware of (i.e. – heart condition, diabetes, allergies).

    Insurance

    If you have dental coverage, please provide us with all of the pertinent information in order for us to ensure that you can maximize your benefits. Your dental coverage will commonly cover for couple of check-ups and few x-rays per year. It may also cover for other services; however, dental insurance plans do not cover for all services at 100%. Therefore, please become familiar with your insurance policy and notify the office of any changes to your policy (i.e. — insurance carrier, group number). Please understand that every insurance policy is different and how your insurance company will reimburse you will change. If you have any questions regarding your benefits, we are always available to help you answer them.

    Payment

    We accept cash, personal check, debit cards, Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Payment is expected at the time of service.
